EFR Care For Children
The EFR Care for Children course provides the extra information and training on top of what you have learned in the EFR Primary and Secondary care courses, to be able to care for injured or sick children and infants.
On the course you will view a DVD and read the Care for Children manual. You will then run through the knowledge reviews with the EFR Instructor before they demonstrate the care for children primary and secondary care skills for children (one to eight years old) and infants (less than one year old).
You will then practice the skills in front of the instructor and with your fellow students before taking part in some emergency scenario practice.
On our EFR course we use Adult, Child and Infant Leardal mannequins along with proper and complete First Aid kits for the best possible simulation and scenario practice.
