Try out the PADI Seal Team adventure which is a fun activity filled way to discover the exciting underwater world and introduce you to scuba diving.
Parents don’t worry. This is a structured program, which allows your kids to develop diving skills, learn about the aquatic realm and begin their underwater adventure. All training is conducted within a swimming pool on shallow water.
The course is broken down into PADI AquaMissions. To become members of the PADI Seal Team, kids must complete 5 of 15 available AquaMissions. The kids will learn about diving through watching the PADI Seal Team video, completing the PADI Seal Team Activity book and during pre-dive briefings with their PADI Instructor.
As a PADI Seal, you learn the basics of safe diving and explore different PADI AquaMissions - or PADI Specialty dives - like Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, Environmental Awareness and more.
What's an AquaMission?
It's an underwater pool adventure where kids learn scuba activities. Take PADI AquaMission: Inner Space Specialist for example, here kids learn how to float underwater like an Astronaut. And PADI AquaMission: Snapshot Specialist, this is where PADI Seal Team members take pictures of each other scuba diving.
Supported by a video, manual and logbook, the PADI Seal Team program is a great way for kids to share the excitement and wonder of diving yet in a controlled environment.
Youngsters who computer AquaMissions 1-5 are PADI Seal Team members. They will receive a PADI Seal Team Member Card and wall certificate and are encouraged to go on to achieve their PADI Master Seal Team member rating.
And of course once they reach 10 years old they're ready for their PADI Junior Open Water Course or PADI Scuba Diver Course !!!
