PADI Seal Team: 4,700 THB

So Kids are you ready for the PADI Seal Team?

The PADI Seal Team program is an awesome way for kids and children to explore the exciting underwater world of Scuba Diving. As such the Seal Team program is broken down into 5 “AquaMissions” each of which consist of a few simple scuba diving skills. These are combined with games and loads of exciting “Missions” to complete underwater. After all what could be better than to dive Phuket while on holiday in Thailand? Especially if they have already done a PADI Bubblemaker program!

The Master Seal Team then gives them TEN additional "Specialty Aqua Missions.” These are dives where they will have even more fun completing 10 more scuba dives. Accordingly these dives focus on different aspects of PADI Specialty diving like Buoyancy, Wreck, Fish ID and more.

The PADI Seal Team and Master Seal Team programs

The PADI Seal Team program actually consists of two programs: the Seal Team and The Master Seal Team. These programs consist of AquaMissions which are conducted in a swimming pool. Consequently this is an awesome chance for children and kids to get involved scuba diving activities. And in turn, learn some of the basic skills from the PADI Open Water Diver Course. The Open Water Course is PADI’s entry level beginner scuba diving course which would give them an International scuba diving license.

What will your kids be doing?

The program consists of 5 AquaMissions. What's more, on each Aqua Mission, they will in fact ,learn one skill from PADI Open Water Course Confined Water Dive 1. This breaks the exercises down nicely which makes for a simple and relaxed program. Not only is it fun, exciting and worthwhile but we also we have lots of additional games we also add in addition to the fun diving around the pool.

The program has a great DVD, AquaMission and logbook which were written specially for children. This is a great way for kids to learn about the wonders and excitement scuba diving has to offer. When they have completed AquaMissions 1-5, participants then become Seal Team Members, and will receive a Seal Team Member Card and Wall Certificate.

PADI Seal Team Members can then continue with the next adventure and carry on with the PADI Master Seal Team.

The Master Seal Team consists of 10 PADI Specialty AquaMission Dives:

  • Creature ID Specialist
  • Environmental Specialist
  • Inner Space Specialist
  • Navigation Specialist
  • Night Specialist
  • Safety Specialist
  • Search & Recover Specialist
  • Skin Diver Specialist
  • Snapshot Specialist
  • Wreck Specialist

On these Specialty AquaMissions PADI Master Seal Team Divers will explore different PADI Specialty dives. These are Specialty dives like Buoyancy Control, Underwater Photography, Night Diving and so on. These work very well even when conducted in a swimming pool environment.

Specialty Aquamissions

For example, there are the AquaMission: Inner Space Specialist. On this dive, you would learn how to move underwater weightless as if you were an Astronaut in Space. The Snapshot AquaMission Specialist lets the divers take pictures of each other scuba diving. These are just 2 but there is loads more cool stuff.

When they have completed all 10 PADI Specialty AquaMissions they will then become PADI Master Seal Team members. As such they will receive a Seal Team Member Card and Wall Certificate.

All in all, the Seal Team is a great program to keep kids motivated and diving until they are ready for their Junior PADI Open Water Course ...

Seal Team and Master Seal Team: completed!

OK so you are now hooked on scuba diving like we are, what's next?

The good news is there is a whole life-long list of things you can do next! The next step we would suggest would be to get certified and get your scuba diving license as a PADI Junior Scuba Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver. The main prerequisite for them to become a PADI Open Water Diver is to be 10 years old. Therefore as soon as they are 10 years old they can start their Open Water Course. Additionally, if this is within 12 months of the Seal Team program, then the Seal Team dives can count towards your PADI Junior Scuba Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification!

Now how cool is that?

Another course you could take, which would also count towards your PADI Junior Scuba Diver or PADI Junior Open Water Diver course, would be the PADI Skin Diver Course.

CONGRATULATIONS divers a whole new world has just opened up for you ...
